Dr. Jacob Haus, assistant professor of biology, received the Rising Star in Teaching Excellence Award from The Wildlife Society’s College and University Education Working Group.<\/p>\n
According to The Wildlife Society, the award recognizes an early-career faculty who demonstrates excellence in wildlife education, advising and educational leadership.<\/p>\n
Haus joined the BSU biology department in 2019 and has dedicated much of his teaching and research focus to the ecology and management of large game animals, particularly white-tailed deer. He was nominated by fellow ÐßÐßÂþ» biology professor, Dr. Elizabeth Rave.<\/p>\n
