ÐßÐßÂþ»­’s Dr. Colleen Livingston, professor of mathematics, wrote an article that was selected as a 2019 Editor’s Pick for the Problems, Resources and Issues in Mathematics Undergraduate Studies journal.<\/p>\n

Livingston’s article “Dog Treat Ball: An Activity to Introduce Systems of Differential Equations” describes using a dog treat ball to introduce systems of first order differential equations. ÐßÐßÂþ»­ alumna Dayna Jaeger ‘18 assisted Livingston in collecting data and reviewing the article during her time at BSU. Her article will be available free throughout 2020.<\/p>\n
