Biography

Sonia O’Bryan earned her B.S. in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Education Endorsement at ÐßÐßÂþ»­, both her M.A. in Education in Literacy, Language, & Culture (BIED) and Education Leadership-Principal Endorsement at Adams State University in Alamosa, CO and her Education Doctorate in K-12 Educational Administration and Leadership from St. Cloud University. She has been in education since 1997 as a former elementary teacher, reading specialist, ELL teacher, and Literacy Coach. She is currently an associate professor of education at ÐßÐßÂþ»­, teaching in the undergraduate education program in the areas of literacy, creative arts, introduction to education, and being a professional teacher. As a literacy specialist, children’s literature is where her writing interests lie. She is a published author of two children’s books Heavenly Father, Will You Be My Daddy? and Amelia Grace’s Forever Home.
