Distributed Learning in Teacher Education (DLiTE)\u00a0is a\u00a0three-year online Bachelor of Science program that\u00a0prepares students to earn their K-6 teacher licensure.<\/p>\n
DLiTE combines online learning with three face-to-face meetings each year in the Minneapolis area. This blended approach offers both convenience and opportunities for professional collaboration.\u00a0The program meets all Minnesota Board of Teaching requirements. It\u00a0is ideal\u00a0for rural and urban students who, for various reasons, cannot attend an on-campus program.<\/p>\n
To comply\u00a0with licensure requirements, SEP (Standards of Effective Practice) courses taken at other institutions will\u00a0not be accepted as transfer equivalencies for DLiTE or FasTrack.\u00a0<\/strong>All ED SEP courses must be taken through ÐßÐßÂþ».\u00a0<\/strong>Courses that can be considered for substitution approval are 100% transfer equivalencies for:\u00a0<\/strong>MATH 1011, MATH 1013, HLTH 3400\/5400, and HLTH 4100.<\/strong><\/p>\n This program has been approved by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) to lead to a Minnesota teaching license upon successful completion of the coursework and required licensure exams. If you do not live in Minnesota, please be aware this program will NOT fulfill the requirements for a teaching license outside of Minnesota.
